Book Review: Show Dad How

When I brought home Show Dad How (a companion book to Show Mom How), I wasn’t sure what to expect: a lighthearted romp through first-time parenthood? A self-consciously ironic tome for the hipster crowd? A thorough, comprehensive guide to fatherhood, including the physical and emotional joys and struggles of becoming a dad?

What I was hoping for was a quick-and-easy pocketguide to all-things-parenthood. One that on-the-go-dads (and moms) could reference in a flash when the inevitable how-to-take-baby’s-rectal-temperature-scenario occurred.

Not so much.
